Ridgeline is a small crew of 15~20 men who organize one day trip a month in Northern California and two bigger expeditions a year. No app. No dues. No bullshit.
The only requirement is that you say yes more than you say no.
Monthly recon missions keep the crew tight. Biannual expeditions take us somewhere we've never been.
One Saturday a month. Dawn start, back by dark. The kind of day that makes Monday feel smaller.
3~7 days. New terrain. The trips you'll talk about for years. Self-funded, loosely planned, properly committed.
Show up. The trip happens whether you're there or not. Attendance isn't tracked but patterns are noticed.
Bring someone better. Every member can nominate one person per year. Quality over quantity, always.
Carry your weight. No guides. No support crews. Everyone contributes to planning, logistics, or cooking at least once a quarter.
Leave it better. Pack out what you pack in. Fix what you find broken. This applies to trails and to each other.
Stay uncomfortable. If every trip is easy, we're doing it wrong. Growth lives at the edge.
